The new Firex® 4671 Long-Life Lithium Battery Ionization Smoke Detector and Alarm is now available.
The 4671 has a 10 year lithium battery life because the number one reason smoke alarms don’t work is due to dead or missing batteries.
The Firex® 4671 is tamper-proof, preventing unwanted removal of the Long-Life Lithium batteries inside. This product is ideally suited for applications where battery theft and battery removal can be a problem, such as university housing, hotels and public housing facilities. 2-way activation switch allows you to engage and disengage the batteries. The switch can be used to deactivate the batteries if the living space is unoccupied, saving battery life. When power is needed again, simply press the activation switch. Interconnectable with up to 11 other 4671 smoke alarms.
Interconnected smoke alarms alert you of possible fire danger in remote areas of a living space, giving families added safety and security. Interconnected smoke alarms are ideal for individual or multi-family buildings.
