The Kidde KN-COB-LCB-A Carbon Monoxide Alarm (direct plug w/9v Battery Backup) plugs directly into your home's standard wall outlet making installation quick and easy. The 9-volt battery backup provides protection even during power outages when many carbon monoxide incidences occur.
The tamper resist feature deters tampering or theft of the unit. It is a great Carbon Monoxide alarm for property owners that are concerned with theft, or parents with small children. This feature alerts you if the unit has been unplugged or if it has come loose from the wall outlet.
The Kidde AC/DC carbon monoxide alarm uses advanced technology to monitor for carbon monoxide levels in your home and features the Nighthawk electrochemical sensor, the world’s most accurate carbon monoxide sensing technology. This alarm has a clean, low profile design along with two LED’s; green for normal operation and red for alarm mode.
